How To Set Up MemberTV On Windows PC

Step-By-Step Setup

Install VLC (or MyIPTV Player)

Download VLC from videolan.org — official site only. Or get MyIPTV Player from the Microsoft Store. Both are free. Install with default settings.

Open VLC and choose Open Network Stream

Launch VLC. Click Media menu → Open Network Stream (Ctrl+N). For MyIPTV Player, click Add Playlist on the home screen.

Paste your M3U URL

Copy the full M3U URL we sent you on WhatsApp. Paste into VLC's URL field. Click Play.

(Optional) Save the playlist for fast access

In VLC, click View → Playlist (Ctrl+L). Right-click an item → Save Playlist. For MyIPTV Player, the playlist is saved automatically and visible from the home tab.

Start streaming

Pick any channel and press Enter. VLC starts in 2-5 seconds. Press F to go full-screen, Space to pause, M to mute. Same controls work on macOS.

Troubleshooting

VLC says "unable to open" the URL

The URL was pasted with a space at the end, or your firewall is blocking VLC. Re-copy from the WhatsApp message and paste again. If still failing, allow VLC through Windows Defender Firewall (Settings → Network & Internet → Firewall → Allow an app).

Picture pixelates on 4K channels

VLC's default cache is too small for 4K. Open VLC → Tools → Preferences → All → Input/Codecs → Network caching: increase to 3000ms. That fixes 95% of pixelation.

Audio plays but no video

Old VLC versions sometimes fail to negotiate H.265 (HEVC). Update to the latest VLC (Help → Check for Updates). HEVC support is built in on Windows 10 1803+.
