How To Set Up MemberTV On LG WebOS Smart TV

Native LG Content Store install. Works on every WebOS LG TV from 2018 onward. About 5 minutes to live streaming.

Step-By-Step Setup

Open LG Content Store

From your home screen, navigate to the LG Content Store icon. Sign in with your LG account.

Search for the recommended player

Use the search icon — type the exact player name we send on WhatsApp. Click Install. Wait 30-45 seconds.

Note your TV's MAC address (if needed)

Some WebOS players require activation. The player's first-run screen shows your MAC. Send it to us on WhatsApp — activation takes under 2 minutes.

Open the player and add a playlist

Open the player from your LG home screen → click Add Playlist or Add Account.

Enter MemberTV credentials

Type your username, password, and server URL exactly as sent. Save.

Wait for channel sync

The player downloads channels and EPG. WebOS takes about 90 seconds on first sync. Subsequent opens are instant.

Pin favorites + start streaming

Press the magic-remote pointer on any channel and click the heart icon to favorite. We recommend pinning your top sports and local affiliate channels.

Troubleshooting

Player installs but won't open
WebOS sometimes needs a full power cycle after installing a new app. Unplug the TV from the wall for 30 seconds, plug back in, try again. This fixes 90% of WebOS install glitches.
Channels load but audio is silent
Open the player Settings → Audio Output and switch from Auto to AC3 Passthrough Off. WebOS handles AC3 inconsistently on third-party players.
Player crashes on 4K channels
WebOS LG TVs older than 2020 are limited to 1080p in third-party players (LG hardware limit, not ours). Use a Firestick 4K Max for full 4K on older LG sets.
